2.1. What is the Dublin Procedure, how and when is it carried out?
It is a special procedure in which it is determined which country is responsible for considering the request for international protection. It can be Croatia or another member state of the European Union or Iceland or Liechtenstein or Norway or Switzerland. For example, if you have previously submitted an application in another EU member state, then that country may be competent to examine your claim. In that case, Croatia will send a request for readmission to that country, and if it agrees, you will be relocated to that country. There are other reasons why another country will be competent to examine the application.
The Dublin Procedure is carried out by the Ministry of the Interior. When receiving the request, questions are asked that are important for the Dublin procedure.
